Katie is a Pin-Up model by calling, but stepped out of her comfort zone and did a Glam the Dress session with me a few weeks ago, where she got to strut her stuff wearing her wedding dress Red Carpet style. She took a few moments and answered my questions about her session with me.
How long have you been waiting to do a Glam the Dress session and what made you decide now was the time to do one? I’ve been wanting to do a shoot with my dress since I got married in September! I was dying to get back in my dress! I loved it so much!
What made you decide I was the photographer to work with to do your session? You were very professional and I loved your work!

What was your favorite part out of the entire experience? The planning, the session, the reveal? Oh man, I loved everything, I loved the session and getting my makeup done and I loved my images, they far surpassed my expectations!
What did you think when you saw that first image of yourself? I thought “Wow, Shannon and Takari [makeup artist] made me look beautiful!!!!”

How did shooting this session with me change your outlook on yourself? Are you more confident? I usually do Pin Up, but this made me see I can branch out and do other types of shoots—it has definitely made me more confident!
Were you surprised at how much fun you had planning your session, shooting your session, and seeing your images? After meeting Shannon the first time I knew she was going to be so fun, so I wasn’t surprised because I knew it would be!
