Flashback!
What was going on a year ago? Well, Angela was preparing for her fitness competition and decide to do a boudoir session because she wanted to see her body for its true shape—she wanted to replace the image in her mind so she could be mentally prepared.
Take a look through her story—I think you’ll be inspired to step out of your own comfort zone yourself…and if you are feeling a bit daring, contact me today so we can discuss your ideas for a session.
Angela: A Fitness Inspiration
I had my first symptom (Raynaud) in October 2014. It wasn’t until the Spring of 2015 that it affected my daily life—swelling, loss of strength, loss of mobility, pain, tiredness. Fall of 2015 is when I was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease and treatment began.
I was already working out 5 days a week. I knew it hurt to start, but I always felt better when I finished. I noticed that since I didn’t work out on weekends, [on] Sunday and Monday symptoms were stronger. I took a guess that maybe the working out was helping so I worked out a couple weekends in a row and then took off and immediately noticed a difference in pain. Same thing with diet. I went on the AIP diet and when I added stuff in, I would start feeling pain again.
The day after Angela took her portraits home, she emailed me to say, “And today when I was posing and practicing for my comp, I felt so much more confident after I saw the pictures.” And later in the day she sent me this text letting me know what her husband thought of her reveal movie, printed portraits, and the phone gallery app:
I was smiling from ear-to-ear when I read her text!
By coincidence I started working out and eating better around the time Angela booked her session, and I have personally found her story to be inspiring to me. Just her spirit and quick laugh I found to be energizing, but I also found myself thinking on days when I didn’t want to work out, ‘Angela finds the strength to do this everyday…I can work out today, too.’
And I want my female readers to note that almost every woman I work with initially walks into her session seeing herself one way, and then once she sees her images, she leaves seeing herself in a different—positive–light.

All of your clients have inspiring stories, but this young woman is truly amazing. What she battles is no easy illness.
Her husband is right, he does have a hot wife! I am sure she will do well in the competition and I look forward to a possible update on her show’s outcome.
Love it!!! My husband loves the app the best. Even though we worked hard on the book (back when you offered that), he loves that the app allows him to look at my pictures whenever he whats, where ever he wants. So glad this gave you such an awesome confident boost, Angela–you’re hott!
