How long have you been wanting to do a boudoir/contemporary glamour session and what made you decide now was the time to do one?
I’ve wanted to do a boudoir session for quite some time but I didn’t ever know if I would feel comfortable in front of the camera. Shannon immediately made me feel comfortable from our first meeting and I knew I had found the photographer that was right for me. Shannon is extremely relaxed, fun & [it was] like being with a friend throughout the entire process.

What was your favorite part out of the entire experience? The planning, the session, the reveal?
I truly can’t pinpoint a favorite part of the experience. The entire process from beginning to end will absolutely be something that I will never forget and cherish forever. It was one of the most fun things ever I’ve done just for myself.
What did you think when you saw that first image of yourself?
My first thoughts were “Is that really me?!” I’ve never felt more glamorous or more beautiful!

How did shooting this session with Shannon Hemauer change your outlook on yourself? Are you more confident? I am absolutely more confident.
Before this experience, did you feel you were photogenic? If no, do you feel you are photogenic now? I was intermittently photogenic. Shy and to myself at times. After seeing these photos I can begin to be more photogenic and let loose a bit more!

Before this experience, what concerns did you have in regards to hiring a photographer? I was originally concerned with the chemistry & feeling comfortable enough in my own skin to be able to do a shoot like this. Shannon took all of those concerns away for me.
Were you surprised at how much fun you had planning your session, shooting your session, and seeing your images? Not at all! Once I met Shannon & especially after my outfit session I was ready. I knew it was going to be the best experience.
