Julie did this session as a welcome home gift for her husband who had been deployed in Baghdad for almost a year. When she did her reveal, she told me she was going to wait until he was actually home to give him the portraits, but she just couldn’t wait! Read on to find out how she shared her portraits with her solider. 🙂 “He had been in Baghdad and his internet signal had been an issue while he had been there.  He could not get the app to download so he said he would have to wait until he returned to Kuwait.”  “So I grabbed the one [image Shannon] posted on FaceBook and messaged it to him just to say it was a sample in the meantime.  He saw that in the middle of the night and got out of bed to go look all over the base for a decent internet connection so he could get the app to load.”   Love it! Jaime wanted to do something special for her husband…so for one of her boudoir outfits she decided to have a little bit of fun and wear a “Tight End” outfit since her hubby loves football. (He appreciated it!) While for another boudoir outfit she wore a pretty bra/panty set in a stunning blue color (you’ll just need to take my word for it since this image is black and white). And she really did look stunning in her included contemporary glamour dress rental! Love it! Marisa recently lost about 40 pounds and wanted to celebrate by shooting a contemporary glamour portrait session with me! We had an interesting hiccup with her dress rental—the dress we had selected (which was silver in color and had a very plunging neckline) was lost by UPS! I wasn’t able to find a replacement dress that was similar in color and style, so the dress you see in these photos are the replacement gown I selected. Initially Marisa wasn’t too sure about the high neckline or golden color, but once she put the dress on she LOVED it on her! Have you lost weight recently and want to celebrate your accomplishment? Katie did a boudoir session so she could surprise her now-husband on their wedding day with a few “for his eyes only” portraits—I was told in a follow-up email that her hubby loved them! <3 Below is Katie’s client interview—as always, I invite you to read through her responses and then contact me to schedule your own phone consult. How long have you been wanting to do a boudoir/contemporary glamour session and what made you decide now was the time to do one? Once I started planning my wedding, I began thinking about gifts for my [now-husband] and that is how I decided that I wanted to do a boudoir session. What made you decide Shannon Hemauer was the photographer to work with to do your boudoir/contemporary glamour session? I did research on a few different photographers in the area. The reviews for Shannon were amazing and definitely convinced me that she was the one to go with. Everyone had written about how positive of an experience it was for them and how comfortable Shannon and her team made them feel, and that was huge for me.
