[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] TAMMY & GEORGE’S BOUDOIR SESSION Before our session with Shannon, I could not see all of the positive changes I made in myself over the last 2 years. My husband tells me every day how proud he is of me and how much he loves me. Thank you Shannon! You opened not only my ears to his words but also my eyes and my heart to him. You captured love and pride that we have for each other but that we often don’t see because of our busy lives. I have often said I wish he could see himself through my eyes and vice versa… I can not say thank you enough! You have allowed us to do that each and every time we look at our beautiful photos. That is an art!! You have found your calling and every couple would benefit from a day like the one that George and I shared! -Tammy Tammy and her husband George were some of the nicest people I’ve met. It was actually Valentine’s Day when we did their couple’s boudoir session, and they showed up with a small bouquet of flowers for me, Dianna, and Athena, plus a box of chocolate that I took home and devoured with my husband. It was a pleasant surprise that I got a little spoiled that day. And let me tell you, this couple is IN LOVE with each other. Their affection to each other is so sweet… and George was always game for the kissing photos. [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] SUSAN’S BOUDOIR SESSION Did you know there is a science behind photography, and most of that science has to do with light? And that there is ‘good quality’ light and ‘bad quality’ light when it comes to taking photographs? When I take a client’s before photo, I purposely use ‘bad quality’ light because I want you to be able to see what a difference it makes when ‘good quality’ light is used. Why does this matter? Because most of the photos you look at of yourself—ya know, the ones that you convince yourself that you just cannot look good in a photo—were taken in bad lighting. In Susan’s ‘before’ photo below, most of the light is coming from the ceiling lights above her (which causes shadows under the eyes), some light is behind her from the window to camera right, and some of it’s in front of her to the side, but off center to camera right. With this set up of lighting, there aren’t any catchlights in Susan’s eyes (the reflection of light that gives eyes that sparkle). In the ‘after’ photo, the studio light is camera left at chin level. There is also natural light coming in from behind her on either side of the bed through the windows, which wraps light around and and fills the scene with creamy light. I’m amazed at how much smaller her eyes look in the ‘before’ photo compared to the ‘after’ photo. I made sure to use photos for the before/after image that have a similar fullness to the smile, because the size of the smile does affect how large the eyes look, too. Yes, her having her eyebrows filled in and wearing false lashes do help define the eyes/make them look bigger, but it’s the lighting that really helps

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] BOBBIE’S BOUDOIR SESSION Bobbie, a wife and mother to a 4-year old, told me she wanted to do a boudoir session, “As a reward for feeling better, being better, and continuing to nurture relationships, especially with my husband.” “I went looking for a boudoir photographer due to going through some recent significant life changes as well as rekindling with my husband. I felt like this was a great time to capture how proud I am of all we have been through and where we are today. There are many struggles in life, but when you can sit back and take in all that is you and your perfect imperfections… that is worth saving! I was nervous at first with the cost, but after seeing the reviews and the amount of detail that goes into each session… I jumped in! I am SO glad I did!!! The feeling, the comfort, and the fun experience was well worth it. Knowing all we have been through and then seeing my husband appreciate the results, priceless… I cannot wait to get the album in hand!! So my team and I did some scrambling and we were able to fit her into an already busy schedule before she flew off to the Sunshine State, and I’m so happy we could do that for her.
