Brittany & Her Race Car Lover
I want to start by first congratulating Brittany and her new husband, Kyle, on getting married this past Saturday!
Brittany and I have been planning her bridal boudoir session since February of this year. She’s a planner like me—she wasn’t about to wait until the last minute to find a photographer to shoot her boudoir session. So, after months of anticipation, session day was finally here.
Brittany’s husband is Kyle Moody, of Moody Motor Sports, a local sprint race car driver. From GO, Brittany and I plotted to shoot her on/around his sprint car. But first we shot three outfits here at the studio. The first was the designer gown I rented for her session.
The second outfit was a black corset, matching panties, thigh-high stockings/garter combo, and the third outfit was her wearing her bridal veil, cowgirl boots, an ivory lace top and matching panties. As you can guess, she requested I keep those “for his eyes only.”
But I can show you this awesome necklace she wore for her session. Please ooh-and-aah over it at your leisure.
But, what I can share with you is this: Brittany arranged for Kyle’s crew chief to have Kyle at the garage when we arrived for that portion of the session. Kyle had no idea what was going on—when Brittany, Alisha the Assistant, and I walked into the garage, Kyle’s face was priceless! I don’t think he initially believed Brittany when she told him we were here to take photos of her on the car, but once I put him to work holding the fan to keep Brittany cool, he knew we were serious. (Please note the hair movement from the fan in the following image—great job, Kyle!)
During our scheming, I asked Brittany if she thought Kyle would like to be in a few of the images with her. I mean, what race car driver doesn’t want a hot girl standing next to him?! So, Brittany had his suit there for him to wear, but first we had to take a few of her in it.

And a big shout-out goes to Ashley Becker for doing a fantastic job and styling Brittany’s hair and makeup! It was hot and humid the day we shot at the race garage but Brittany’s hair and makeup took it like a champ.
Behind the Scenes
Brittany knew she wanted to go with the folio box with the individual matted images, so the day of her image reveal I had her prints displayed and ready to go—she got to leave that night with her purchased images in hand.
The first image is what she and her momma saw after they both watched Brittany’s reveal movie–all 25 matted images. (I blurred out all but the four in this post for privacy reasons.)
