Lindsey wanted to give her husband a kick-ass present to celebrate being together for ten years, so she came to me earlier in January to shoot a boudoir session.
Lindsey has this cute girl-next-door look about her. She’s a vet tech, so she’s usually wearing her hair in a ponytail, scrubs, and little makeup BUT for her session she wanted to glam things up.
And that’s something my lead stylist, Nath Kreider, does well! (FYI: All three of the stylists on my team freelance hair/makeup—prom/wedding session is almost here! Don’t wait too long to book them because they fill up fast.)
I’m super excited to blog about Lindsey’s session because rarely do I get to share ALL of the images from a client’s session—many are kept private per the request of the client. But Lindsey was like, ‘Share ’em all!’
So, I am a huge fan of bodysuits—they offer coverage but are still sexy—and lace bodysuits are big this year.
And yes, of course, I suggested Lindsey tea stain the lace body suit—I mean, come on! Look at how lovely that color is on her skin? Plus it matches the studio tulle skirt perfectly. (Just fyi: the lace bodysuit above ^ is the same bodysuit in the next image. Pretty cool how the item is so versatile.)
For those of you ladies drooling over the necklace Lindsey is wearing—it’s part of my studio wardrobe! Shoot a session with me and you’ll get to wear it, too.
Lindsey lives about an hour from me, so instead of doing an in-person portrait reveal, where she would come back to the studio and get to look through her individually matted portraits that evening, we did a Skype reveal so she could watch her reveal movie/go through the images with me. Once she selected her collection, I assembled her folio box and I mailed it to her.
When the folio box arrived in the mail, she was blown away at how stunning the images are in print.
